Abstract: There is high risk for settlement during mining construction of subway tunnel underpass buildings. Based on a project of Guangzhou subway tunnel, the risk and the corresponding control measures during the construction are introduced, then the treatment to the water leakage, the key factor for settlement, which can provide a reference for similar projects．
