Dynamic Response and Stability of High Slope in Mian-mao Highway under the Condition of Seismic

Abstract: The dynamic characteristics of high slopes such as dynamic stresses, dynamic displacements and acceleration due to seismic loads are investigated by employing the dynamic FEM\|UEM coupling numerical analysis. These slopes comprised of different rock or soil mediums of Mian\|mao highway in Sichuan. The distribution of stresses and strains in the limit stability condition is obtained by using the strength reduction method, and the potential instability region of slope subjected to seismic loads is determined, which is as the reference for slope treatment of Mian\|mao highway and other similar engineerings.
