Abstract: This paper presents a case history of post grout of cast in place reinforced concrete pile tip in rounded gravel soil layers. The design parameters of pile are optimized throughout the comparison between static loading tests and theoretical analysis. The range capacity increase coefficients at the tip of pile and pile shaft portion after the post grout can be obtained from the load test results. The optimized parameters in the post grout, such as, amount of grouting slurry, grouting pressure, flow rate can also be obtained. It is concluded that the better grouting results with high axial capacity should have low pressure slow grouting flow rate and multiple grouting for the same pile.
