Abstract: The geological conditions at Shiguancai talus slope for Goupitan Hydropower Station Project are complicated in nature. The results of the stability rehabilitation will directly affect the buildings and other structures for the safe operation of the power station as well as the navigational safety. The landslide caisson method was to be implemented as the reinforcement methods. Therefore, the rock mass deformation modulus and the elastic spring coefficient are needed for the caisson design. The in-situ full scale landslide resistant caisson tests are the most reliable way to obtain the design parameters. This paper presents the full scale load test results.
