Abstract: This paper presents the results of the study on a proposed sanitary landfill in Chiyu, Dongang City. The geological conditions of the proposed site are investigated throughout the geophysical, test boring and water injection tests. The permeability at the bottom of the landfill is evaluated and the cutoff measures are proposed. It is concluded that the grouting cutoff wall is necessary.
