Design and Construction of a Water Supply Tunnel Under Complicated Geological and Hydrological Conditions

Abstract: The water tunnel of coal burning power plant, which is the Second Phase of Dengfeng Electricity Co., Let, Huarun Group, is underneath the rock mass with complicated geological and hydrological conditions.  The tunnel construction techniques under the adverse conditions such as, fractured rock mass zone, running sand and groundwater rush are discussed in thepaper.
