Soil Densification Effects of Pre-stressed Concrete Pipe Piles Based on the SMP Failure Criterion

Abstract: During the driving process of a prestressed reinforced concrete pipe pile, the soil densification and plugging effects are also induced. Both the soil densification and the plugging effects are analyzed based on the Spatially Mobilized Plane (SMP) failure criterion. The stress and displacement of the prestressed reinforced concrete pipe pile are presented in the paper.
