Abstract: Taking the advantage of coupled charge of the mixed emulsion explosives, the large size borehole drill rig has cost efficiency over other smaller borehole diameters. The blasting parameters under different borehole diameters and their associated cost are compared. This paper presents the case history of blasting parameters used in the New Baima mining operation.
