Abstract: Both the Sadaosk formula and the modified Sadaosk formula were used to study the vibration attenuation from ground improvement with blasting technique.  Nonlinear regression analysis was performed to obtain the parameters required in the formulae using monitoring data.  The modified Sadaosk formula was found to fit the monitoring data better than the Sadaosk formula.  Therefore, it is recommended that the modified Sadosk formula be used in the design of ground improvement with blasting technique and vibration control associated with the blasting technique.
