Abstract: Time-dependent effect of bearing capacity of driven pile in saturated soft soil has been known in the engineering practice effectively. Combined with in situ load test results, the mechanism of time-dependent effect on bearing capacity of driven pile in saturated soft soil is analyzed． The results showed that the structure strength of the disturbed soil around the pile is regained with the time increasing and the lateral friction of pile is also increased, which shows time-dependent effect.
