Abstract: The pavement structural information of Xiangjing Expressway in Hubei is analyzed and evaluated with the defection basin data collected from the Fall Weight Deflectometer (FWD) tests using the modulus calculation software. The resilient modulus of the structure layers is back calculated. The results indicate that the effective resilient modulus varies between 180 MPa and 250 MPa, which suggest the sugrade soil within the project limits is fairly good and can satisfactorily provide the necessary support the overlying pavement structural layers under the traffic loads.
