Abstract: Based on the design plan of the National Electric's Yuetuo Island No.3 offshore anemometer tower in Yueting County, this paper presents a case study of the design and analysis of the foundation of an offshore triangular anemometer tower. The load magnitude and combination aspects of this structure are discussed. The finite element analysis of the foundation components and the estimation of the bending moments in the pilecap are also introduced. Compared with the quadrilateral pile foundation distribution, the triangular pilecap option has the advantage in the construction cost.
