Abstract: The dynamic response of the excavation of landslide resistant caisson under seismic conditions was numerically analyzed by using finite member element, vibration superposition method and Rayleigh damping theory. The bending moment in the caisson and the deformation and the top of the caisson were predicted. The centrifuge tests of the excavation of landslide resistant caissons under seismic conditions were performed to verify the numerical analysis results. This paper presents the bending moment characteristics under the seismic conditions and can provide design guides for the landslide resistant caisson under seismic conditions.
