Foundation Deep Well Dewatering and Pumping Test in Main Engineering Stage one of Gaoshibei Lock

Abstract: The water diversion works from Yangtze River to Hanjiang River was the giant main canal and one part of mid\|route of South to North Water Diversion and there was the three level ship lock at the entrance of navigation engineering, which was located at the right side of Hanjiang River in Gaoshibei town, Qianjiang city and connected with the giant main canal. The stratum and permeability property of construction site of Gaoshibei ship lock engineering was obtained by in\|situ pumping test and the parameter of pumping well such as well structure was selected, then the deep well dewatering scheme was proposed, which was provided as a reference for similar dewatering engineering of ship lock foundation.
