Abstract: The differential settlement of a factory building foundation led to cracking and deformation of the superstructure. To address this problem, a composite reinforcement scheme combining anchor-rod jacked steel pipe piles with in-pile grouting technology is proposed. The paper elaborates on the reinforcement mechanism of this method, provides a systematic description of key construction procedures and quality-control measures, and evaluates the actual strengthening performance through engineering verification. Field results demonstrate that the combined technique of jacked piles and grouting effectively improves the mechanical properties of the surrounding soil and enables rapid settlement control. The verified scheme satisfies both bearing-capacity and deformation-control requirements, while offering advantages such as short construction duration, minimal disturbance to existing structures, significant settlement-arresting performance, and environmental compatibility. Owing to these merits, the method shows strong application potential and practical value, particularly for the foundation rehabilitation of existing industrial plants, and provides an important reference for similar engineering projects.
