Abstract: The quality assurance and control of the soil cement mixing columns are always the critical aspects in the construction management and inspection. Currently, there are two approaches for the QA-QC control: comprehensive monitoring during the installation and integrity tests after the installation. In this paper, the intelligent evaluation system of the construction quality of soil cement mixing columns is developed, and the intelligent evaluation method of soil cement mixing column installation quality is studied based on the soft soil treatment project of an expressway in southern Jiangsu. The results show that the intelligent evaluation system for the soil cement mixing column installation quality can implement the automatic collection, storage, abnormal alarm and remote real-time sharing of the installation data in the entire process of the construction. This system can also be used in remote monitoring of on-site installation and effectively ensure the column quality. The key parameters of the soil cement mixing column installation quality analysis are the column length, the cement content per linear meter and column plumbness. The real-time construction quality evaluation model of the soil cement mixing column is established to objectively and timely feedback for the installation quality of the soil cement mixing column.
