Abstract: The subway transferring stations and crossing of various subway alignments are frequently encountered in the underground transportation construction as the development of urban rail transit projects. The under crossing the existing rail tunnels and underground stations for the proposed subway will induce a significant challenge for the construction. The proposed construction was simulated by the three-dimensional finite element numerical model and the site-specific subsurface conditions were considered. The settlement of the existing pile supported bridge was simulated under various construction control measure. The results indicate that numerical model predicted values were similar to the construction monitoring data.
