Discussion of the Analytical Methods of Internal Forces in Anchored Frame Beams

Abstract: This paper introduces several conventional internal force estimation methods of the beam on elastic soils. The bending moment formula in the Two-Parameter Method is improved and the new internal force solution is obtained by assigning zero coefficient of foundation shearing in the beam on elastic soils. Four different approaches of obtaining the internal forces in a real project application and these methods are: HetenyiMethod, Infinite Beam Method, Initial Parameter Method and Two-Parameter Method. The impact of foundation shear coefficient on the internal forces in beam on elastic soils are also evaluated.
