Abstract: A grouting mix slurry with high sulfate resistant and retarding characteristics was specially developed for soils in a coastal area with high sulfate contents a complicated hydrological conditions. This grouting mix uses high sulfate resistant cement as a base matrix added with bentonite and bentonite, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, sodium hexametaphosphate as flyash in order to improve the stability, flowability, initial setting time as well as the sulfate resistance. The optimum mix design was obtained through the orthogonal experiments.
