Retrogressive and Bedding Landslide Evolution Process and Progressive Failure Mechanism Numerical Method Research of Guiyang

Abstract: This paper presents a daylighting rock slope failure simulation results. The progressive slope failure through excessive deformation and its evolution factors are evaluated through the geological investigation and deformation analysis by software FLAC3D. The layered rock joint was incorporated in the deformation analysis of the numerical model. The stability evaluation was performed under the most unfavorable conditions. The numerical analysis results is similar to the limit equilibrium analysis by using segment line method. The process of the shear movement at the failure plane is also dynamically simulated.
