Abstract: This paper presents a case history of the monitoring and data analysis of the prestressed ground anchors for a slope stability remediation project. The data indicates that the prestress loss can be divided into three stages: Fast prestress loss, gradual loss and relative stable. The influence factors that affecting the stress loss have been summarized. The project results indicates that the prestress monitoring can provide the real time information about the deformation of the slope and the monitoring plays a critical role in the slope stability analysis as well as the mitigation.\=
