Safety Evaluation of the Existing Buildings over the Grouting of a Shallow Excavated Tunnel

Abstract: This paper present a case history of the stability evaluation of an existing building. This building is over a shallow excavated tunnel and the grouting on the tunnel is required. The evaluation combined with both insitu monitoring and the numerical analysis approach. The grouting operation on an entire cross section is simulated with FLAC 3D software. The deformation of the ground soil mass and the stress on the supporting structures are analyzed.
