Frequency Domain Analysis of Ground Penetrating Radar in Detecting the Karst Rock Cavity under Pile Tips

Abstract: Both theoretical and practical aspects of the application of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) in detecting the karst rock cavities underneath the pile tip are introduced in the paper. The GPR data interpretation improvements by using Ormsby Filtering Method and background noise reduction in the frequency domain are also studied.
