Abstract: Engineering project risk assessment is a rather complicated work, which includes many uncertain factors. Hence, it is different for an accurate comprehensive approach using quantitative method. Due to the complexity, fuzziness nature of the risk assessment, the evaluation presented in this paper selects the major parameters that affect the projects risk. The index weights at all levels are determined by using the principal component analysis (PCA) method and these weights are used in a comprehensive fuzzy risk evaluation. The evaluation results indicate that the fuzzy evaluation method in the risk assessment is feasible.
