Abstract: This paper presents a case of using Deep Dynamic Compaction (DDC) method in the eliminating of the wetting collapse potential of the collapsible loess. For the important building structures over the collapsible soils, the collapsible potential is to be completely eliminated and bearing capacity of the treated soils needs to be improved. The paper demonstrates the treatment results.
