Abstract: The double halfring supporting system is a new type of deep excavation supporting structure. It has received a wider application in the complicated urban environment and the adverse subsurface conditions. This paper presents a case history using this supporting structure in the deep excavations in Zhongshan soft soils. The technical aspects of structure are also introduced.
