Abstract: The interruption of concrete supply during the construction is unavoidable when using the super long concrete pumps. The performance of the concrete joints might be greatly affected by the excessive pouring interruptions. Currently, many measures can be used to improve the concrete joints if the pouring delay is deemed as excessive. Applying the adhesive additives and embedding the dower rebar are among the most popular methods. This paper presents a case history of treating the concrete pour joints caused by the excessive delay in the concrete supply. The theoretical formula for the joint treatment is applied and examined by the actual project.
