The Application of TSP in Tunnel Construction in Karst Region

Abstract: The mechanisms of Tunnel Seismic Prediction (TSP) are briefly introduced in this paper. TSP applications in the Zijingshan Tunnel in the Daguangnan Expressway Project, where the karst features are highly developed, are presented in detail as a case history. The predicted results were later validated by the construction.
