Abstract: The TDR reflection characteristic of coaxial cable in different types under pure shearing is tested by self-design experimental facility. First, the accuracy of shearing position by TDR is checked. Then the relationship between TDR reflection coefficient and shearing displacement and the mechanics property of different types of coaxial cable are summarized, and both of the reflection characteristic of coaxial cable in domestic and abroad was compared, the replacement feasibility of imported coaxial cable by home coaxial cable is discussed, and finally the SYWY-75-9(4P) coaxial cable is choosed to replace the imported coaxial cable.
