桂林岩溶区红粘土固结特性研究

Consolidation Characteristics of Red Clay in Guilin Karst Terrain

摘要: 为研究静力荷载作用下桂林岩溶区红粘土的固结变形规律,从而为该地区的工程建设提供参考。对桂林岩溶区在不同深度内取得的红粘土进行了原状样与扰动样的固结特性研究,对所取得的红粘土扰动样在不同含水率、不同压实度条件下进行了系统的单轴压缩试验。研究结果表明:桂林岩溶区红粘土在最佳含水率时,在不同含水率及不同压实度条件下的压缩系数均为最低,工程特性为较好;不同的含水率及压实度条件,对桂林岩溶区红粘土的固结变形规律有一定的影响。

Abstract: The consolidation deformation properties of the red clay samples from Guilin karst terrain under the static load are evaluated in this paper and the results could provide reference for the engineering constructions in the same area. Undisturbed red clay samples from various depths were collected and onedimensional consolidation laboratory tested under various moisture contents and dry densities. The following conclusions could be obtained: The lowest coefficient of compressibility of red clay samples were found at the optimum moisture content with different dry densities. The moisture content and degree of compaction have influence on the consolidation properties of Guilin red clay.
