砂性土中含水率对土拱演变的影响试验研究

Experimental Study of the Influence of Moisture Content on the Soil Arching in Sandy Soils

摘要: 土拱效应是岩土体变形后受力的自我优化调整的结果,在工程中广泛存在。目前,有关土拱效应的研究,少有人研究含水率对土拱演变的影响。通过多组室内模型试验,同时将土拱的演变分为初拱、临界拱、土拱破坏及最终破坏状态四个阶段,对不同含水率下土拱的演变阶段进行了研究。试验结果表明,砂性土中含水率的变化在土拱演变阶段起着重要的作用,其中,含水率较小时可不考虑土拱效应。结论对土拱效应的研究应用具有一定的借鉴作用。

Abstract: The soil arching is the result of selfoptimization and adjustment of the forces after deformation of rock and soil mass. The soil arching concept is widely used in various projects. The current researches on the soil aching are focused on the mechanical properties geotechnical materials, such as, cohesion and internal friction angle by the moisture content on the evolution of the soil arching effect. The model studies that the evolution of the soil arching can be divided into four stages: Initial Arching, Critical Arching, Failing Arching and Failed Arching. The moisture contents at each stage of the arching are studied. The test results indicate that the moisture content plays an important role in the soil arching effect in the sandy soils. When the moisture content in sand in small, the arching effect can be ignored.
