砂与粉煤灰改良桂林红粘土水土特性研究

Laboratory Investigations of Guilin Red Clay Improved with Sand and Fly-ash

摘要: 桂林红黏土的物理性质、矿物成分具有其独特性,在改善其工程性质时使用掺砂与粉煤灰混合材料,为了研究砂与粉煤灰掺量对桂林红黏土的改良效果,通过对界限含水率实验、直接剪切实验、击实实验等室内实验的指标值的分析,得到不同掺量对红黏土的相关指标的变化关系,找出改良效果最好的掺量比例为砂20%、粉煤灰10%。

Abstract: Both physical properties and mineral composition of Guilin red clays are unique. To investigation the effect of the sand and flayash mixing on the Guilin red clay improvement, a series of laboratory tests, such as Atterberg limits, direct shear tests and Proctor tests, were performed on soils mixed with various amounts of sand and flyashes. It is concluded that the optimum sand content is 20% and flyash content is 10%.
