Quality Control on the Deep Seepage Cutoff Walls for Strengthened Coastal Soils

Abstract

Abstract: This paper presents the deep excavation results for the Line No. 5 of Shenzhen Metro. The failure of the seepage cutoff wall is systematically analyzed through different aspects: engineering geology, construction procedures, equipment and construction quality control. The effects of different factors on the seepage cutoff wall are discussed and the mitigation measure is also proposed.
