Application of Rigid Column Composite Foundations for a Cement Storage Facility in Karst Areas

Abstract: The paper presents a case history of using rigid column composite soil as a soil improvement method for the foundation construction of a cement storage facility in karst terrain. The results indicate that this method is technically reliable and cost effective method.
