Abstract: Cut slopes are planned at both sides of the Qingwang Road widening project. The proposed slopes have loose soils with buildings nearby. The limit equilibrium method was applied to analyze these slopes and the analytical results were used to provide guidelines for the design of supporting structures. Slope stability analyses also provide guidance for the slope cut and supporting structure construction sequences.
