Research on Soil Improvement for Expansive Soil

Abstract

Abstract: This paper presents the results of soil improvement for expansive soil using cementstabilization and limestabilization. The effect of soil improvement on a medium expansive soil from Nanyang is demonstrated by comparing the shear strength before and after the treatment. This soil improvement method will have wide application to ditches and slopes constructed with modified expansive soil.
