Abstract: The integrated design of the subway and the structure above it should consider not only the feasibility of the project, but also the overall coordination of the landscape design. At the same time, it is also necessary to maximize the commercial value of property above. In this paper, the subway station of Nanjing Metro and the property above the station was studied as a case history considering the combination of the design and construction of subway and the property of above the station and the integration of four small structures above the ground. The results show that, in the early concept design stage and the final engineering development stage, reserve enough flexibility of the property above can results in a better property development after the subway construction.
