Abstract: The pile foundation of Leqing Bay Bridge in Zhejiang has the characteristics of high bearing capacity, large diameter and the piles are in the marine environment. The selfbalanced method was used to test the capacity of 5 piles. And the ultimate bearing capacity of the single pile was analyzed by the simplified equivalent conversion method and precise conversion method. The loading test results showed that the simplified equivalent conversion method can meet the engineering requirements. Further analysis is needed in order to obtain the reasonable value of the conversion coefficient K in different soils.
