Abstract: Geological hazard on the roadside slopes affects the safe operation of the highway in the mountain area. This paper presents a case history of highway slope geological hazards evaluation on the AB Slope in Zone I at Ciping of Jinggangshan. The regional engineering geological environment was investigated throughout the geological, topographical, meteorological and hydrological aspects. The potential geological hazards, including the slope stability, on the highway slopes are evaluated. The remediation measures are also provided.
