软硬岩石节理剪切试验及破坏特征研究

摘要: 自然界存在软硬强度不同岩石组成的软硬岩石节理,此类岩石节理的剪切研究对软硬岩石交错边坡的稳定性具有重要意义。通过剪切试验,研究不同粗糙度和不同法向应力下软硬岩石节理的剪切强度和破坏特征,破坏特征按节理面剪切后破坏面积区域计算。结果表明,粗糙度和法向应力增大剪切强度增大,剪切破坏面积区域也增大。岩石节理壁的软硬强度相差越大两侧剪切破坏程度越不同,软的节理面产生破坏面积区域大于硬的节理面产生破坏面积区域。剪切试验强度与节理壁软硬强度存在明显相关性,相同节理壁的剪切强度小于增大一侧节理壁的剪切强度,研究揭示了软硬岩石交错边坡的岩石节理剪切行为,为可该类边坡滑坡灾害的预防提供帮助。

Abstract: There are soft and hard materials in the rock joints composed of different infill stiffness in nature. The investigation into the shear properties of these rock joints has substantial relevance for the stability of the intertwined roughness. Shear tests are conducted to investigate the shear strength and failure characteristics of the soft and hard rock joints under various conditions of joint roughness coefficient and normal stresses where in the failure characteristics are quantified based on the area of the failure surface post-shearing of the joint surface. The results indicate that both the shear strength and the area of the shear failure surface escalate with an increase in joint roughness coefficient and normal stress. A larger difference in the hardness of the rock joint walls leads to a more pronounced difference in the degree of shear failure on either side with the softer joint surface exhibiting a larger failure surface area compared to the harder joint surface. A distinct correlation is observed between the shear test strength and the hardness of the joint walls with the shear strength of a joint wall being inferior to that of a joint wall with increased hardness on one side. This investigation elucidates the shear behavior of rock joints in intertwined roughness, which will help in the prevention of landslide hazards on this type of slopes.
