摘要: 白垩系红层因其胶结程度、结构、构造等不同,其工程地质特征也有很大区别。针对鹰梅铁路南城至广昌盆地白垩系红层的工程地质调绘、原位测试及室内试验,详细研究了南城至广昌盆地白垩系红层的工程地质特征,在此基础上选取三种典型的岩体结构特征,提出了对应的工程措施建议,给铁路建设选线提供了重要的参考。

Abstract: Comparing with the other frequently encountered soils, the Red Clay of Cretaceous Age has distinct properties due to its differences in degree of cementation, structural fabric and sedimentary formations. This paper presents the geological engineering properties of the area between Nancheng and Changguang Basin of MeiYing railway based on the engineering geological survey, insitu as well as laboratory test results. The properties of the Red Clay formation have summarized into three aspects. The railway construction recommendations are also proposed in the paper.
