摘要: 上新近系泥岩成岩时代新,成岩作用差,含有大量粘土矿物,具有特殊的工程特性,针对十天高速甘肃西和-天水段泥岩,全面阐述了其崩解性、膨胀性及低强度性等特性,为工程区膨胀性泥岩段构筑物的设计提供地质依据,可减小泥岩的不良地质特性带来的工程危害,同时对泥岩的分析评价方法亦可为类似地区提供借鉴和参考。

Abstract: The Pliocene epoch mudstone in the XiheTianshui Section of Shitian Expressway in Gansu Province has the characteristics of newly geologically deposited, less degree of sedimentary and containing large amount of clay minerals so that this mudstone has the special engineering properties. This paper presents of the index, slaking, expansive and low strength properties of the mudstone and these properties provide the geotechnical bases for the design of roadways and structures in the area. The recommendations from this study can effectively reduce the geological related hazards induced by the adverse effect of mudstone.
