含水量变化对原状土剪切强度的影响

摘要: 工程实践中,道路的边坡、路基、土石坝。建筑物的地基等丧失稳定性的事故很多一般发生的破坏都是剪切破坏。含水量是土体的一项重要指标,不同含水量的土具有不同的抗剪强度,以原状土为实验对象,在不破坏原状土的情况下改变其含水量,在不同含水量下做直剪实验,研究原状土含水量对剪切强度的影响。

Abstract: Shear failure is a very common failure mode in the engineering practices in highway slopes, embankments, earth and rock filled dams as well as building foundations. The moisture content is an important physical index of soil mas and different shear strength of soils are correspondent to different moisture contents. This paper presents a series of direct shear test results on undisturbed soils with various moisture contents. The impact of moisture contents on the shear strength are studied.
