中-西太平洋海盆浅层沉积物的物理力学性质初探

摘要: 利用大洋32航次在皮嘉费他海盆和中太平洋海盆获得的重力活塞柱状样品,在现场进行了含水率、湿密度、微型扭力十字板以及微型贯入试验,获得了深海盆地浅层沉积物的物理力学性质。研究表明,深海海盆沉积物具有较高的含水率和较低的湿密度、抗剪强度、贯入阻力,各项土工参数之间具有很好的相关性,并且随深度呈现一定规律性的变化。

Abstract:  A series of tests, such as water content, density, miniature vane shear, and micro penetration, were performed at the scene on the samples collected by piston gravity coring in COMRA Cruise 32 Voyage in Pigafetta Basin and the Central Pacific Basin. The physical and mechanical properties of the surface sediments of deepsea basin indicate high water content,low density,low shear strength and low penetration resistance. There are good correlations among the different geotechnical parameters. The variation of the parameters can also be generally correlated with the depth.
