Factors Resulting Levee Instabilities from Numerical Analysis and Laboratory Test Results

摘要: 基于室内土工试验和有限元数值模拟,结合以往历史资料,对某长江2级堤防进行险情原因分析。根据现场查勘情况,以及堤顶、堤脚、滩地三处土体物理力学指标的差异,综合判断堤防险情是由堤基的不均匀沉降引起的,并结合数值模拟排除了大堤的失稳问题。

Abstract: The instability of a Yangtze River levee was numerically evaluated with laboratory test results and historical data. The mechanical and physical differences of soil sample from crest, toe of the levee and from the bank of the river were evaluated. It is concluded that the hazards on the levee was caused by the differential settlement. The observed results are also in consistent with the numerical analysis results.
